"Enjoy the Silence."  "Strangelove."  "Personal Jesus."  "Behind the Wheel."  "Just Can't Get Enough."  "Policy of Truth."  "People Are People."  "World in My Eyes."  The list of songs that you probably recognize from Depeche Mode could go on and on.

Well, if you love the music of Depeche Mode, you don't want to miss MODENIGHT - a special one-night party being held at Lot No. 6 (1323 E 6th Street, just barely east of Peoria).  For a dirt-cheap $5.00 cover, you'll get to hear an entire night of Depeche Mode and related projects, including not only the hits that you know and love, but also remixes, rarities, B-sides, and side projects.

In celebration of the new Depeche Mode album Spirit, Tulsa's premier mobile DJ company, BRAVO Pro DJ, is presenting an entire evening featuring strictly the following:

  • Depeche Mode.
  • Any Dave Gahan solo/side projects.
  • Any Martin Gore solo/side projects.
  • Recoil (Alan Wilder).

This is not a standard Tulsa alternative retro night.  As much as we love the Cure, Book of Love, New Order, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Sisters of Mercy, etc... this is strictly a Depeche Mode-focused DJ party, and those artists will not be featured.

YOUR DJS FOR THE EVENING:

BADGER
Owner of Tulsa's Bravo Pro DJ and Awesome Retro DJ mobile DJ companies; former DJ on the Edge of Insanity on KNGX radio; longtime Tulsa club DJ including performances at 80s Prom and That 90s Party; organizer of Tulsa's An Old School Techno Night and PROG51; hardcore fan of Depeche Mode's work since 1987; considered one of the biggest DM collectors in our part of the state.

JESSY JAMES
Organizer of Tulsa's longest-running monthly alternative 80s night, ResurXtion; longtime Tulsa club DJ including performances at 80s Prom and Propaganda; longtime fan of Depeche Mode who was in attendance at the Warehouse in Los Angeles when the infamous KROQ/Depeche Mode "fan riot" occurred.

$5.00 cover / event starts around 8:00 pm

Lot No. 6 will be non-smoking throughout
the month of May, including during this event.

This event will feature stroboscopic and other club light effects which may trigger
seizures in those who are prone to them.

(Legal note:  This is not a Depeche Mode concert.  This is strictly a DJ event.  Do not attend expecting any present or former members of Depeche Mode to be in attendance, or else you will be severely disappointed.  Cover charges will not be refunded for this reason.  Depeche Mode have never performed in Oklahoma and likely never will.  Are we clear?  Good.  It's kind of embarrassing that we even have to include a disclaimer like this... but... we do.)
