New
year's resolutions for 2011 (water, the Almighty, and the loose ends).
Current Mood: Somewhat ambitious.
Current scent: Antidote by Viktor + Rolf.
I've
done a lot of thinking about what I want to do with this year.
This year, I want things to be different. I want that every year,
but this year I really want to put an extraordinary amount of effort
into it. There's no reason this can't be one of the best years
I've had in a long time.
I've
decided something very important: I don't want to look back ten
or twenty years from now wondering what the hell I was doing with my
life while the rest of the world was passing by. I already do
that, and it's gotten tiresome.
(That's
not to say that I've done nothing for the past several years
- I just haven't done enough.)
So,
without further adooooo, here are my new year's resolutions for 2011.
- I'm
going to drink more water. There. That one's easy.
This will not only assist me with getting into better shape, but it
will also help my brain function more efficiently.
- I'm
going to work out more. That's something a lot of people offer
up as a resolution, I know... but it applies nonetheless, and it's
a really big deal with me.
- I'm
going to learn more about God. I am not fooling myself into
thinking that this is going to be an altogether positive experience.
- I'm
going to spend more time with friends in real life, and a little less
time hanging out on Facebook wishing that I was spending time with
friends.
- I'm
going to perform DJ duties at no less than three events.
- I'm
going to try to end 2011 - if I make it to the end of 2011 - with
fewer loose ends than I had at the end of 2010.
So, there
you have it. My resolutions for 2011. More stuff later.
