Hi.
I
don't post enough here. I know that. I post to my
Facebook page on a daily basis, pretty much... but I don't post
enough here.
Sorry
about that.
I
figure that it's been a while since I just sat down and wrote up a bunch
of little facts about how my life's going, so here goes.
I've
been busy. Crazily, stupidly busy. Here's how busy I am:
A while back, I used a vacation day from my "day job" to go
out with my wife for mini-golf and dinner.
My
son X is now seven years old. My son Atticus is now two years
old. I still have moments in which I look at them (or just think
about them) and think, "Waitasecond. I have two kids?
That's crazy. I'm too young for that."
Then,
I realize how not-so-young I actually am. Ouch.
I
still feel young, mentally. Sometimes it feels like I
just got out of high school a few years ago... even though that's far
from the case.
I
have been told that I look younger than I am... so that's good.
:) I'd like to credit over fourteen years of vegetarianism for
that, but it's more likely because I try to take care of my skin.
I stay out of the sun as often as I can. Also... exfoliate and
moisturize, people. Exfoliate and moisturize. It does more
good than you'd think.
It's
so hard to believe that 1989 was 25 YEARS AGO. Holy cow...
Twenty-five years ago, I had just finished my junior year of high school,
and I had started working with my parents and my DJ mentor Dave to put
together the pieces of my first DJ company.
I
have a few different projects in the works. The biggest event
that I have in the horizon is called "Back to the Prom."
I hope to post the whole story soon, but it's a very special private
performance in late June that I'm providing to a young lady and her
friends. The crowd will likely be no more than a few dozen people,
but I'm REALLY looking forward to it and I'm going to be "bringing
the big guns" as far as the show is concerned. I'll probably
post more about that in my next journal entry.
I've
also been working on more paintings. I now have an art
site, at which you can see and even BUY some of my paintings.
I had my fourth art exhibit, "Visions of the End Times," in
April, and I hope to have another exhibit somewhere later this year.
Oh,
yeah... and the new version of "The Arsenio Hall Show" has
been cancelled after one season. That SUCKS. :( All
my best to Arsenio; his first series gave me some great memories way
back in the day.
More
soon. BIG news soon. Really. :)
