A shocking breakup, and Halloween in August.

Well, it's an interesting life, and I don't have a lot to say right now.  I've been working on a special part of the site tonight, and I need to head to bed.

So, I'll make this really quick.

The Bad News:  "Badger and Jiffy" are no longer an item.
As of the morning of Saturday, August 7th, Heather ("Jiffy Pop") and I are no longer a couple.  One week earlier, we celebrated her birthday and our first anniversary as a couple, and I treated her not only to a significant amount of gifts but also to one of the most romantic, amazing weekends we'd ever had.

I guess that was what she had been waiting for.  Once that was over, she seemed very happy, then she waited a week and shocked me with the sudden, unexpected breakup.

And, yes, for those who may have heard this, it's true:  After one full year together, she broke up with me over Yahoo! Messenger.

I'm recovering pretty well, and I appreciate the well-wishers and friends who have shown their concern so far.

The Good News:  Halloween in August.
I have waited way too long to post about this, but there's a huge party coming up at the Gypsy Coffee House this forthcoming Saturday, August 28th.  It's called "Halloween in August," and it will feature myself, DJ TMJ, and members of the Oklahoma Fetish Factory.  Yep, you heard right.  It's going to be sheer craziness, I tell you.
